i wish i could be an english rose.

After college, I bought a single pink rose from a little florist by Kingston Station, which I will be photographing everyday for a week to see how it wilts. I will be using a similar rose in my final art piece for when it goes in my college exhibition, as it will really set of the rest of my artwork. Throughout my project I have been intrigued buy how things age, the past, memories...etc, and I think it will be really interesting that at the beginning of the exhibition the rose will be alive, and by the end it will be dead. I really do hope you understand my artwork and my ideas, click here for a previous post which has a little more information. I will definately be doing a big post on my work once I have completed everything, maybe after I get my final grade so I can share my good news (hopefully) with you! If you have any questions about my art, feel free to ask! I'd actually love to answer your questions. P.S. My mum is cutting my hair, It's going to be shoulder length, eeek! Love, Jazzabelle.

  5. Such an interesting idea for a project. Dying flowers always make me really sad... I love having them around the house but seeing them die makes me wonder why we do it. xx
