Shirt, Topshop, gift - Cardigan, charity shop, 50p - Satchel, charity shop, £5.99 - Jeans c/o H! by Henry Holland

Another Monday spent volunteering in my favourite charity shop; drinking tea, sorting through donations, tidying up, pricing and hanging up clothes, managing the till, serving customers and just generally having loads of fun. I of course picked up plenty of bargains myself, including a Topshop dress and two pairs of jeans, a few gold frames, a book, an old issue of Love magazine and a bag full of old unused matchboxes. I didn't spend more than seven pounds, so I'm very happy with that! Have you picked up any charity shop, car boot sale or jumble sale bargains recently? I'd love to know, I'm always interested in knowing what secondhand bargains people find. Thank-you for all of your lovely comments regarding my little magazine feature! Love, Jazzabelle.

  3. I love your bag. You really do have the nicest things from charity shops! My local high street is full of them but I think because there are so many all close together, most of them are just full of tatt! I'll have to have another look soon to see if I can match any of your wonderful finds! Doubt it though :)

  12. You lucky thing! What are you planning to do with the matchsticks?
That bag is gorgeous. I haven't been able to scour the charity shops for a while, best bargain was a gorgeous silver hand painted leaf brooch that I wear almost everyday. 50p!

  13. Nice haul! I spent £3 to fill a bag in my local charity shop last week, and got a vintage coat, two skirts and a Topshop top.

  14. unfortunally, I haven't bought anything vintage lately. I always go to fleemarkets, and since the weather sucks, there aren't any.

Anyways, love your cardigan, looks really comfy!

  16. Corr, you always find the best things! I haven't shopped lately. I can't even afford charity shop prices right now, haha. I love the look of that old map.

  17. i am so jealous of you charity shop finds! you find so many lovely things. charity shops are underrated, (i think that's the word i'm looking for) most people think they're filled with old granny things and they can be but you just have to look. i haven't actually been to many myself but you and other people seem to find many lovely things.

  18. I am planning to brave the flea market tomorrow, sometimes I feel a little intimidated by the ‘roughness’ of it, but I want some bargains so I’m going to have to get my rummaging head on!
The frames and matchboxes sound lovely, I am always enchanted by the vast amount of bric a brac donated xxx

  21. I adore you muted coloured pictures, Jazmine, and charity shop volunteering sounds like the perfect pasttime. I've been eyeing the row of jeans in my local OOxfam shop lately - think I'll have a closer look at them tomorrow.

lately i have, did a blog about one yesterday, a butter dish for 50p. i also got a boden multicoloured striped shirt for £3. the charity shops in my area are quite expensive but where i go to uni it's all cheap. that's where i got a harris tweed jacket for £3. you look wicked as always

  28. Sounds like a great day to me - tea and charity shops are the perfect mix for me. I haven't found much in my local charity shops recently, but I did get some great cable knit jumpers in different colours - I want to turn a few of them into cushion covers.
I think my favourite part of your outfit is the satchel - gorgeous!
And thank you for replying to my comment about my art project. I've actually decided to interpret 'contrast' in a slightly different way now, linking in in to my scoliosis.

  33. Oh Jazza you thrifting genius!
I managed to pick up a dress in COW vintage for £2 today, I'm going to turn it into a skirt though 'cuz it's pretty big but the fabric design was just irrisistable to leave behind.

Congrats on the magazine feature m'dear, that's brilliant news!
Hope you have an absolutely lovely week :)

  34. Huge congrats on the magazine feature, dear Jazz! Loving your thrifty bargains too. I haven't been second hand shopping for a while so might pop in to my favourite charity shop at the weekend. I can't wait for the car boots to start up again! x

  35. In love with this bag.
In love with this whole outfit.
Cannot believe that you found this thrifting.
I think you should take me with you next time and show me how it is done. All I can find at thrift shops are creepers and old women. I think I suck at it.

  36. wowww mrs those are some bloody good bargains! I can really not get over what you manage to get in your charity shop.. its insane! We have lots of charity shops in Barnet, including a brilliant one but you'd never get an item for under £3 in there which is a bit of a bum. Last time I went shopping I found two skater skirts, one in black and one in cerise - both lovely but still at £4 and £3.50 so not as cheap as you!
Thanks for your lovely comment on my Brighton post! We really werent looking so good when it rained! haha oh well :P
    enjoy Thailandddd!

  40. I just love your style Jazzabelle, it's so cool and urban :)
I never find anything in charity shops, I'm a lost cause I think.. I always tell myself, I'm gonna go it and find something real good, but I get discouraged after 3 mins in there, so I give up!:(
One day, I will learn how to be a good charity shopper! :P
