Do you ever feel like you don't want to do another post because you're loving your previous one so much? That's how I feel right now, I completely adore the outfit I wore yesterday, I just don't want to cover it up! Hehe. Anyway, I get my college results on Wednesday, so I think now is the perfect time to show you my final piece. I hope you aren't disappointed after the somewhat large build up! I'm ridiculously proud of what I have achieved, I can't wait to hang it up in my bedroom and continue adding more elements to it over the Summer. The colours are slightly more light and airy than in real life, because of the way it's been edited, but I just think that adds to the effect. Enjoy!

I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions on my work, and if you have any questions I'd really love to answer them! Love, Jazzabelle. P.S. Please click here for more information on my artwork.

I think you really captured something special. I love nostalgia, and this really does represent your take on it perfectly. This will look totally amazing on your wall! It is so very personal to you, and is very you indeed. You should be very proud :)x

  3. Utterly beautiful. Really, your work is something to be immensely proud of. The way you've matched the colours is perfect and the addition of pearls is delightful. How on earth could I be disappointed by this beauty, I only wish I could have seen it in the flesh! Te he you deserve a massive internet high five :)

How has the weather been treating you? It was apparently 31 degrees yesterday, hottest day! I thought I was going to suffocate! And the sun! Gosh, seriously a sunburn does not look good with a prom dress :(

  6. Thankyou for your last comment, it really made me smile :)
I've had lots of starbucks reccomendations I need to save up my pennies to try them all, tehe. Maybe I could become a coffee critic! :D tehe.

I cannot begin to decribe how beautiful this is! I am really impressed! Most of my artwork ends up stuffed under my bed, it's great that you've made something you can display with pride :)
It's inspired me to get going with my own art work, seeing as I've spent the whole day on blogger in an attempt to avoid it...

    TTFN :) x x x

  7. This is amazing. So beautiful. I'd love to understand art to be able to express what I feel (and if english was my first language maybe it would help). I really don't know how to describe my feelings, but this is so beautiful. So delicate and.. beautiful. I suck at this, I know, but I don't have more words to tell you how much I love this. I'd love to hang this in my bedroom. Good luck on your results! xx

  8. I came across your blog through Jill's, and I'm glad I did!
This is a really beautiful piece. It reminds me slightly of an art porject I had to doinspired by Kurt Schwitters - I ended up using old family photos, letters and stamps too! But mine ended in a small bodice covered in a collage of monochrome photos.
I love the nostalgiac feel of your piece, and you can both appreciate the inspiration points while seeing that it is totally your own creation.
I like the blance with the rose and small bottles, it makes it look like one is observing a staged scene, rather than just a final piece.

I'm working on my art final piece at the moment too (still in year ten, so it's not the really important one yet) based on identity, and I've enjoyed it so much!

  15. Te he, thank you for your comment, they're always so delightful! And our internet high fives are really quite virtually epic :)

You lucky thing! I've never tanned in my life except for a little bit on my foot, I just end up looking like a lobsters relative, which is not pleasant. I have to stick to paler colours mostly, because my skin and eyes just get washed out by anything brighter. Your outfit yesterday was gorgeous, the colours really suit you. He he, my proms tomorrow :)

You so are going to pass, te he I'll have my toes crossed for extra assurance! That would be very cool, are you at the penrhyn road campus or the central one? Though you probably spot me at the point at which I do an epic face plant :)

    xx

  23. Te he, I'm currently in the process of doing one right now :)
My school is just up Richmond Road! Though closer to Ham than Kingston. Hopefully you don't go in early enough to see the maddened rush of Tiffin Girls running for the bus at 8, me included.
Funny thing is today, I think I might have spotted you, I was at the crossing and you were just passing the Thai restaurant, and I had to tell myself 'eve seriously running like a loon is never a good first impression' hehe.
Ahh I'm always in the High street starbucks, next to uniqlo, but if you go to the Bentals one, have you ever been into Pie, just across from it? Such lovely clothes, but so expensive!
