confidence dressing

Oh, the art of power dressing. It isn't something that comes naturally to me (does it for anyone?), but I think it's something I'm finally learning to master.

One piece in my wardrobe which has become my go-to for dressing the part for work is this blazer. Lisette perfectly sums up why I love it in her Lazy Girls Guide - it's on trend, makes me look effortlessly 'put together', and because it goes with almost everything, I can get dressed in the morning without the faff-factor. More time in bed for me!

I love how different clothes can transform my mood - putting on a blazer instantly gets me ready to have a productive working day and I stand so much more confidently when in heels. I've always loved the idea of having a 'work wardrobe' separate from my main wardrobe - I mean, that's still a dream, but it's bloody lovely to have a few staple pieces that I know make me feel good and look the part. I feel a 'a week of workwear' post coming very soon...

  1. Clothes can definitely help define a mood or a particular attitude, and I love that! It's feels good to have a little help when you want to put the word out there that you're feeling like a strong professional or whatever else you like that particular day! :)
